I have used the Windows 7 installation disk to boot into the command prompt: Administrator: X: windows system32 cmd.exe X: Sources> I cannot get into my C drive and although I can get regedit to open and make changes I don't think it changes any thing on my machine. Am I suppose to load registry files from my machine into regedit?
